General discussion sub circles host advanced features to help you organize discussions and harvest data. To explore the full advanced features of the General discussion sub circle type you must have a General discussion subcircle created.

One of the unique features on Sutra is Tag for discussion feeds. Tagging enables you to organize and find posts with ease. To tag a message click on the Tag button at the top right of the post.

In the pop-up box, click on Add tag.

From the dropdown menu select Create tag.

Now you can name a tag and designate its color. Once complete, click on the green Create label button to the right of the pink Color dropdown menu.

The new tag automatically pops up in your newly created tagging menu. The tag is also available from the Add tag dropdown menu. Click on Update to add the tag to the discussion. This is how to add a new tag to a post.

You can now see the tag added to the message in the discussion feed.

If you'd like to add an existing tag to a post, click on the Tag button beside the post you're tagging like you did in the previous exercise.

A pop up window will allow you to select the tag from a drop-down menu. Click on Add tag to see the list of existing tags. You can also create a new tag or select multiple tags. After you select the tag from the drop down menu, it will appear above. You'll be able to add additional tags if you want, then click on Update to save the tag to the post.

You can also delete tags by clicking on the "X" next to it. Confirm this action by pressing Okay. Then click on the green Update button.
