Create an event space
You can create an event space for your participants so that they can add it to their calendar and have all the necessary information prior to the event.

Creating an event space
You can create an event space within your program.
1) For this go to your program space, switch to the Edit page mode and select to add Space.
2) Choose Event as a space format:
3) Fill in the form setting the space privacy, date, time and event location. Press Create space when you are ready.
4) By clicking on the gear icon next to the event date you can access the events setting to update/edit the date, time and Zoom link.
You can also add a calendar description which will be displayed for the participants if they add the events to their personal calendar.
Press the Save details button when you finished editing.
💡 Tip: If you enable the option "Allow people to join event without registering for Sutra", participants will be allowed to register for the event just by sharing their name and email without having to create an account on Sutra.
6) After you added a Zoom link and an event description your participants will be able to Join call right from the space and add the event to their personal calendars.
Automated registration confirmation email for the event
You can choose to automatically send a registration confirmation email to your participants after they get registered. Follow
Broadcast emails prior to the event
You can compose a broadcast email for your participants prior to the event. For example, you can send reminder emails 3 days and then 1 hour before the event that will include the video conference link and all the necessary information.
For this, you need to create a Broadcast inside the event space for it to be sent out to all the registered members of this space. Read here more about the Broadcast.
