Create a chat space
The chat format is perfect for chats and announcements. One single thread of conversation, with a format similar to WhatsApp and Slack.
How to create a chat space
1) Switch to the Edit page mode on the top menu.
2) Put the cursor on the empty line below the content and click on the + icon. Or click on the Space icon shortcut.
3) Enter the space name
4) Click on the space format field and select Chat
5) You also have the option to keep this space Open or Private. Or to schedule this space to be published on a specific date and time.
6) Once everything is set, click on the Create space button
Tag settings
To access Tag settings, click on Manage and in the Additional settings section.
You can choose to allow members to create their own tags:

Read-only chat space
Create a read-only discussion for announcements or sharing important information
You can create a read-only chat space and adjust the settings so that only the managers can post messages in it. You can also choose to enable or disable the reflections for these posts.
- Create a discussion space within your program.
Being inside the discussion space click on the Manage button, select the General settings and scroll down to the Additional settings.
Here turn off the first two options: disable all the members to post messages in this space and disable reflections.
- Make sure you invite your participants to this chat space for them to be able to receive the updates via the email digest.
⚠️ Important: Make sure to @mention other participants (@username) or all the members of this discussion circle (@space) to draw people's attention to your post. They will receive an email notification about this post right away.
Other settings
If it's an announcement chat, you can also block members from posting messages and only managers will have the option to post it.
You can also choose to enable reflections on the chat space or not.
This option will be enabled by default and participants will have the option to reflect on each others' message:
