Zoom Recording Integration
You can create an integration between Sutra and Zoom so that your live sessions are automatically uploaded to your spaces.

Deleting the Zoom integration

How to automatically add Zoom meeting recordings to a content space
- Switch to the Edit page mode on the top menu
- Put the cursor on the empty line below the content and click on the + icon to add a block
- Scroll down to the Media section and select Zoom recording:
- Click on the Connect Zoom Account blue button:
- You will be redirected to Zoom Sign In page and must enter your Zoom login information
- Next, you will be redirected back to your Sutra space
- In the Edit mode, click on the + icon to add a block and select Zoom recordings again
- You will now see the option to select a meeting that is scheduled on your Zoom account
- Select the one you want to record and add to the space and click Create recording container
- A video block will be added to the space with a message that the recording will be published after the meeting has ended
- After the meeting has ended, the video recording will be automatically added to the space
Please note: this integration does not support private meetings with a password.
How to Automatically add Zoom meeting recordings to an event space
- Switch to the Edit page mode on the top menu
- Put the cursor on the empty line below the content and click on the + icon to add a block
- Scroll down to the Spaces section and select Event Space:
- You will have the option to Select a zoom meeting or to Create a zoom meeting from Sutra:
- In any of the options selected, you will have to click on the Connect Zoom Account button:
- You will be redirected to Zoom Sign In page and must enter your Zoom login information
- Next, a new tab will open with the message below:
- You can close this tab and return to your Sutra event and select the session you want to record and add to the space:
- And enable the toggle to Save zoom recording
- A video block will be added to the event space with a message that the recording will be published after the meeting has ended
- After the meeting has ended, the video recording will be automatically added to the event space
If you choose to Create a zoom meeting from Sutra, all the steps above will repeat but the a session will be added to your Zoom account.
Please note: this integration does not support private meetings with a password.
Deleting the Zoom integration
On Sutra:
Please make sure you are logged in to Sutra and go to the following link: https://sutra.co/zoom/integration
Please click on the blue “Disconnect Zoom Account” button. This will clear your Zoom authentication credentials on the Sutra side. In order to automatically record any additional video calls, you will have to re-authenticate your Zoom account.
This action will not delete any video content that has been saved through the Zoom integration. To delete that content, please go to the specific spaces where you have set up recordings to be saved and delete them manually from there.
On Zoom:
Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
Click Manage >> Added Apps or search for the “Sutra” app.
Click the “Sutra” app.
Click Remove.
